Order escrow documentsWhat to know about HOA payments
- Dues and special assessments are set by your association board under your governing documents, and the management company bills and collects on the board's behalf.
- Pay before the due date. Late charges, interest and any collection steps follow your association's policy.
- Keep your confirmation. If a payment does not appear, it is your proof of the date you submitted.
- California law requires payments on a delinquent account to be applied to assessments first, before late charges and costs. See our summary of the Doskocz decision for what that means for payment plans.
- Use only official APM links. Do not share bank details by email or text.
